LA county gas prices continue to decrease

Los Angeles County, California – Average gas prices have slightly dropped again in LA County, extending the run of decreasing prices for 21 days in a row.

According to information from the AAA and the Oil Price Information service, the average price of gas dropped one-tenth of a cent two days ago, and yesterday it dropped two tenths of a cent more and now stands at $5.804.

Prices have fallen overall by 26.6 cents in the last 21 days. During a 32-day run of price rises that ended on March 27, the average price jumped by $1.283 to a new high of $6.07.

However, the gas price is still $1.791 higher than it was one year ago, but is 5.8 cents lower than a week ago and 10.3 lower than last month.
