Two men ‘indecently abuse’ a 15-year-old girl and record themselves ‘in the act’; learn their fate after sharing the video online
Police said three individuals have been charged in connection with the alleged ra-e of a teenage girl that was videotaped and shared on a multimedia instant messaging app.
According to authorities, the 15-year-old girl was se-ually assaulted at a shopping complex last year.
Investigators said the victim went to the shopping center with 17-year-old Aaliyah. When they arrived, they reportedly met with 20-year-old Demauri and 18-year-old Miguel, police said.
The victim was given alcohol and allegedly assaulted twice by Demauri and Miguel, once in an office building and later inside a parked car, authorities said. Aaliyah is accused of filming the alleged assault and sharing the video with someone on Snapchat.
The ra-e investigation began when the 15-year-old told her mother about the encounter and she reported it to police, authorities said.
All three suspects were arrested last week. Miguel and Demauri each face one count of ra-e and one count of child se-ual exploitation, police said. They remain held at the jail without bond, online records show.
Authorities have confirmed that Aaliyah, who is charged with one count of se-ual exploitation of a child, has since been released on bond.
