Incoming storm will deliver light rain in Southern California
Long Beach, California – Weather forecasters predict that a short storm will deliver light rain to Southern California in the late evening hours of Thursday.
It is forecasted that throughout the storm, approximately one-tenth of an inch will fall in the region, and in the coastal mountain areas of Orange County, up to a quarter-inch of rain is expected.
Rain and strong wind conditions are also expected in the San Gabriel Mountains.
However, the duration of the storm will last a few hours at most.
According to the National Weather Service, mild temperatures are forecast to continue throughout the week and dip into Friday. Forecasters at the National Weather Service anticipate temperatures reaching the upper 60s on Friday in both coastal and interior areas around the region.
