Man arrested in connection with a string of bank robberies in Long Beach

Long Beach, California – On Wednesday, law enforcement officials in the Long Beach area apprehended a suspect sought in connection with a string of various bank robberies that have taken place over the course of the last two months in the region.

Devon Neal, 32, was reportedly arrested for his alleged role in at least four bank robberies, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. With the help of the Bell Police Department, investigators learned that Neal would give a demand letter to the bank teller before leaving the scene of the crime.

Officers arrested Neal at his residence on Rahn Avenue early Wednesday morning. Authorities are continuing their investigation in order to determine whether Neal was involved in other robberies throughout South California besides these.
