Long Beach Airport joins the list of flight cancellations
Long Beach, California – Long Beach Airport joined the list of canceled flights during the holiday weekend caused by the coronavirus pandemic, with six flights canceled as of Sunday afternoon.
FlightAware.com reported 110 cancellations at the Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday, 1,187 affecting flights in and out of the United States, and 2,844 total cancellations throughout the world as of 3:15 p.m.
There were also 25 flights canceled at John Wayne Airport in Orange County and 8 at Hollywood Burbank Airport.
In the list of flight cancellations, LAX airport was not left out either, with 96 flights canceled on Christmas Day.
On Friday, 2,380 flights were canceled throughout the world, including 690 in the United States and 86 at LAX.
