Vehicle collision prompts Sig Alert on southbound 5 Freeway and Parker Road

Los Angeles, California – A vehicle accident that significantly disrupted traffic on Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the southbound 5 Freeway and Parker Road prompted the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sig Alert.

The Sig Alert will be in place until the scene is cleared and is not expected to be lifted for at least three hours, according to authorities.
