Police investigating a freeway shooting where a truck driver died
Los Angeles, California – Police are searching for the individual or individuals who opened fire from a dark-colored vehicle into another vehicle on the road and killed a man.
Shots were fired at approximately 5 p.m. in North Hills, close to the 405 Freeway at the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Haskell Avenue.
Even though there is a lot of foot and vehicle activity in the area at all times, the perpetrator was able to pull up next to a moving truck, fatally shoot the driver, and continue driving down the road, making it impossible for witnesses to provide a more specific description, according to the police.
The authorities only said the shots were being fired from a black sedan and did not provide any additional description.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is underway.
