Nine people taken to the hospital, including two with severe injuries, after a shuttle bus crashed at LAX

Los Angeles, California – A shuttle bus was involved in an accident on Thursday afternoon at the entrance to Los Angeles International Airport. The accident resulted in two individuals being seriously hurt and seven others suffering minor injuries.

The bus reportedly collided with a pole on the lower level road of the LAX terminal area at around 12:21 p.m., causing severe injuries to two passengers and injuries that were not considered life-threatening to seven others. The injured people were among the 23 passengers on board the bus at the time of the accident and were taken to a hospital for treatment.

There was no specific information released about what led to the accident. The investigation is ongoing.

LAX officials asked drivers to avoid using the lower level while crews responded to the crash.
