One arrest made in connection with stabbing death of a Long Beach man

Long Beach, California – Long Beach police made one arrest in connection with the stabbing death of a man in the city.

Police said the incident occurred on Saturday on the 2100 block of Williams Street, and the man was stabbed during an altercation with another man.

According to the investigators, the victim had tried to attack the suspect before the suspect grabbed a knife and stabbed him several times. The victim died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The suspect confessed to the police that he stabbed the victim. Both the suspect and the victim knew each other.

The victim was identified as 58-year-old Long Beach resident Michael Marker. The suspect, who was also a Long Beach resident, was identified as 64-year-old Ronald Wandersee. He was arrested and transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the fight.

The reason for the argument is still not known.
