Wilmington drive-by shooting left a minor and an adult wounded

Los Angeles, California – A drive-by shooting in a Wilmington neighborhood last night left two people injured, including a 6-year-old boy.

The incident took place in the 1000 block of Flint Avenue at around 9:30 p.m.

The identities of the 30-year-old man and the 6-year-old boy remained undisclosed.

According to authorities, a vehicle pulled up behind the victims in the driveway of a home and an unknown assailant inside the vehicle fired shots at them.

The victims were transferred to a hospital for treatment, and police said in the morning hours of Friday that both of them were in stable condition.

Neither information about the motive of the shooting nor the suspect’s description were released.
