West Hollywood crash involving an LASD patrol vehicle leaves two deputies injured

West Hollywood, California – Two deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were hurt in a car accident in West Hollywood on Wednesday night.

The accident took place around 10:15 p.m. at the intersection of La Cienega and Sunset Boulevard, involving a pickup truck and a patrol vehicle from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities said that two deputies were transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. However, their injuries were said to be non-life-threatening and they are expected to be released soon.

The driver of the pickup truck remained uninjured.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
