Apartment complex fire in Long Beach displaced one and sent two to a hospital

Long Beach, California – A fire that broke out Wednesday at an apartment north of Long Beach’s East Village sent two individuals to the hospital and displaced another.

Firefighters were sent to a report of a fire in the 900 block of Olive Avenue at a two-story apartment building. According to authorities, fire crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly upon their arrival at the location and also rescued one person who was trapped inside.

Two individuals were treated at the scene and later transported to a hospital for further treatment. Information about their conditions was not released. One individual was forced to relocate due to the damage caused to the unit, and Red Cross crews were called for assistance.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.

The investigation remains ongoing.
