Identities of father and son found dead on Tuesday in a suspected murder-suicide revealed by authorities

Los Angeles, California – The identities of a father and son who were discovered dead in Chatsworth, a suburban neighborhood in the City of Los Angeles, were revealed by authorities on Wednesday.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were sent to the 21000 block of Plummer Street near De Soto Avenue at around 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday in reference to a possible suicide.

Authorities found two male bodies outside of a vehicle near the alternative learning campus of William Tell Aggeler High School.

According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, 35-year-old Jose Romo Guerra and 10-year-old Romo Sandoval were the victims that were discovered by responding officers. The victims were a father and son, and both of them were living in Canoga Park.

Autopsies will be performed to determine the cause of death of the victims.

Officers did not discover any weapons at the scene, according to the most recent information.

Police are still looking into this case, and they have said it could be a murder-suicide.
