Public’s help needed in locating a missing man suffering from several medical conditions

Los Angeles County, California – Authorities appealed to the public on Thursday, asking for assistance in locating a man with a medical condition who went missing.

According to authorities, the 63-year-old man, Antonio Ortega, is suffering from a few medical conditions such as dementia and diabetes, and was last seen in the Covina area, in the 21000 block of East Covina Boulevard on Wednesday at approximately 12:40 a.m. They also added that Ortega is 80% blind and is medicine dependent.

Police provided a description of Ortega, saying he is a 5’ 6″ tall Latino man, weighing around 200 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was dressed in blue shorts, a blue shirt, and black sandals the last time he was seen.
