Middle-aged female passenger dies following a collision with an Amazon truck in Anaheim

Anaheim, California – A 60-year-old woman died following a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday night in Anaheim.

Sgt. Shane Carringer of the Anaheim Police Department said that officers were dispatched at 7:55 p.m. to the crossroads of Orange Avenue and S Dale Avenue, where they found that an Amazon truck had collided with a Toyota Prius. The collision resulted in three injuries.

The occupants of the Prius were transported to a hospital for treatment of what appeared to be serious injuries, where the female passenger was declared dead. The Amazon truck driver sustained minor injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
