LAPD looking for suspect in downtown LA shooting that killed a man

Los Angeles, California – The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for the suspect responsible for fatally shooting a man in front of the Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday.

The Los Angeles Police Department received a report about shots being fired in the 300 block of South Hill Street around 3:56 p.m.

Responding crews arrived in a response and found the man suffering from obvious gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, but unfortunately later died. The name of the victim will not be released until their family is notified.

Customers who had heard the gunshots fled from the market, frightened for their lives.

Police conducted a search in an attempt to apprehend the shooter, but it did not yield results, and he still remains at large.

An investigation into the shooting will determine the motive for the incident.
