Public’s help needed in identifying a suspect who stabbed an elderly, wheelchair-bound man

Los Angeles, California – An 82-year-old man, in a wheelchair, was stabbed in Mar Vista, and the police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the attacker.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were sent to the 12000 block of Venice Boulevard on October 3 at around 6:55 p.m. A statement from the police department said that they found the victim being treated by paramedics for stab wounds to the neck and shoulder.

According to the police, the man was sent to a hospital where his status has been reported as being stable as of Thursday.

Investigators from the LAPD acquired surveillance footage from the location where the incident occurred. They discovered that the suspect “attacked the man without provocation” before fleeing the scene.

The perpetrator was said to be a bald male in his 20s or 30s, between 5 feet 1 and 5 feet 6 in height, and weighing about 130 pounds. In addition to that, he has a large tattoo on the back of his head and another one next to his left eye.
