Man taken into custody after he reportedly threatened with violence online

Long Beach, California – Authorities arrested a man over the weekend after making online threats.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the man was taken into custody after he reportedly posted photos and language threatening violence online. Additionally, officers seized firearms that were found in his possession.

Jaime Alvarez, 29, was arrested by police on a gun violence restraining order.
