Police investigating a shooting at an LA meat market with casualties
Los Angeles, California – A shooting incident that occurred after midnight at a meat market in South Los Angeles sent two men to the hospital and left one dead.
First responders were sent to the 6200 block of South San Pedro Street after receiving a report about a shooting with casualties. According to reports from the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred outside the business.
Upon arrival, responding crews found two men lying in the road while a third man, who may have been an employee of the market, was found inside the business. All of them sustained gunshot wounds, with one of them being unresponsive.
The victim, who was unresponsive when discovered by authorities, was transported to a hospital for treatment where he was declared dead. The other two victims were also taken to the hospital and are listed in stable condition.
According to police, three people played a role in the incident and they are currently looking for them. However, the suspects’ descriptions were not made public. The investigation is ongoing. Once more details become available, we will update this article.
